Personal Experience & Biography

I help adults who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or emotionally exhausted after long periods of stress, responsibility, or survival. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in an understanding of how chronic stress and past experiences shape the nervous system, emotional responses, and patterns of coping. Rather than focusing on what is “wrong,” I help clients understand what their system has learned to do to stay safe, and how to gently shift those patterns in a way that feels manageable and respectful.

I work closely with clients who struggle with ongoing stress, anxiety, and nervous system overload, helping them build practical tools for regulation, grounding, and emotional balance. Many of the people I see are high-functioning individuals who appear capable on the outside but feel depleted, tense, or disconnected on the inside. Together, we focus on reducing overwhelm, increasing resilience, and restoring a sense of control and steadiness in daily life.

I also support individuals experiencing career burnout, compassion fatigue, and work-related exhaustion. Burnout is not a personal failure, but often the result of prolonged stress, over-responsibility, and misalignment between values and demands. In therapy, I help clients slow down, clarify boundaries, reconnect with their needs, and make thoughtful, sustainable changes that support long-term well-being. My approach is collaborative, practical, and compassionate, offering a steady space to process stress, rebuild capacity, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

Sessions with me are structured, focused, and collaborative. I am a direct, solutions-focused therapist who believes insight is most helpful when it leads to meaningful change. While I create a calm, supportive space, I do not let sessions drift or stay stuck in the same patterns week after week. I help clients identify what is keeping them overwhelmed, clarify what they want to change, and work toward practical, realistic solutions that fit their lives.

My style is grounded and honest. I will reflect patterns I notice, ask clear questions, and offer straightforward feedback in a way that feels respectful rather than critical. I am especially attentive to how stress and trauma show up in the nervous system, and I adjust the pace of sessions so work feels productive without being overwhelming. When clients feel stuck, I help break problems down into manageable steps and focus on what can be changed now.

I balance emotional understanding with action. While I make space for feelings and experiences to be heard, I also help clients develop tools, boundaries, and strategies they can apply outside of session. Many clients appreciate that therapy with me feels purposeful and efficient while still being compassionate and supportive. My goal is for sessions to leave you with greater clarity, a sense of direction, and a growing confidence in your ability to manage stress and move forward.

Clients continue coming back to work with me because they experience real movement, not just emotional processing. They often tell me that therapy feels productive and purposeful, and that they leave sessions with greater clarity, direction, and relief. I focus on helping clients get to the root of what is actually driving their stress, burnout, or emotional patterns rather than circling the same surface issues week after week.

I am skilled at noticing underlying themes, blind spots, and nervous system patterns that may not be obvious at first. Many clients come in believing the problem is work stress, anxiety, or a difficult relationship, and together we uncover deeper dynamics such as over-responsibility, unresolved stress responses, boundary issues, or long-standing survival patterns. Once those core issues are identified, we can address them directly and efficiently.

Clients also return because they see results outside of session. I help translate insight into practical change by offering clear strategies, tools, and next steps that fit real life. As clients begin to feel more regulated, confident, and grounded, they notice improvements in decision-making, emotional resilience, and their ability to handle stress. Progress is not left to chance; we regularly check in on what is working, what is not, and what needs to shift.

Finally, clients continue working with me because the therapeutic relationship feels safe, honest, and effective. They know they will be met with compassion, direct feedback, and a steady presence that keeps therapy moving forward. I help clients feel understood without being coddled, challenged without being overwhelmed, and supported while they make meaningful, lasting changes.
