My specialties—LGBTQ+ care, PTSD, and Family Therapy—allow me to support clients with a holistic, trauma-informed, and deeply affirming approach. Each of these areas is unique, but they often overlap in ways that shape how a person experiences relationships, identity, and emotional safety. My goal is to meet clients where they are and help them move forward with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
I’m naturally warm, thoughtful, and curious. Clients often tell me that I’m easy to talk to and that it feels relieving to be understood without judgment or pressure. I ask meaningful questions, reflect things back with care, and help you make sense of your internal world in a way that feels empowering, not overwhelming. My goal is for you to feel both safe and seen—like you can take a deep breath and just be yourself.
At the same time, I value honesty and collaboration. I’m not a “sit-and-nod” therapist. I’m engaged and present. I’ll gently challenge you when it’s helpful, offer insights when they’re useful, and help you connect the dots in ways that support growth. I bring structure when it’s needed and flexibility when life feels messy.
Humor also has a place in my sessions when appropriate. I believe that healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy, and sometimes a small moment of lightness can make difficult work feel more manageable. Above all, sessions with me are centered around you—your pace, your needs, your goals, your lived experience. My personality as a clinician is compassionate and client-centered, and my greatest intention is that you leave each session feeling supported, understood, and just a little more connected to yourself than when you arrived.
