I will work with you in a way so that you feel as if you can overcome past trauma, addiction that has claimed your life, and help you regain confidence. We will set realistic goals and make a plan that will help you reach those goals. My goal for you is for you to take back what trauma has taken from you. It is to help you overcome fear with confidence. It is to help you recover, to rewrite your story.
A session with me will be comforting, empowering, and motivational. It will be a place where you can express yourself. I will hear your voice and provide genuine care. I will work with you to provide realistic goals, encourage healthy thought processes, and challenge unhelpful behaviors and thinking. We will work to establish new and healthy coping strategies, while also working to strengthen coping strategies that you have found to be effective. My goal is your goal. I celebrate victories with clients and make them feel good about themselves again.
My personable, welcoming, and genuine care for my clients is what makes them return to see me. The fact that I am honest with them allows them to see that I truly have their best interest at heart. I am myself in session, therefore, I try and create an atmosphere where my clients feel as if they can be themselves. I also create an environment where my clients feel safe and comfortable talking about uncomfortable situations.
