I believe in the benefits of DBT and CBT therapeutic modalities. Though they have similar outcome goals, there are key differences between the two: CBT tends to be short-term, while DBT is typically a one-year commitment. CBT encourages changing negative thoughts and emotions, while DBT promotes accepting negative emotions, feeling them, and letting them go
In a therapy session with me, you are seen, you are heard, you are safe. I will never judge you, I will never shame you, but I will hold you accountable. I am respectful, I appreciate the differences in people, I will work to always create healthy boundaries and I will be reliable and build a trusty relationship.
I have a love for people. I am hear to listen carefully to what you have to say, I am not here to give you advice or opinions. I am here to help you live your best life possible by being authentic, reliable, believing in you and helping you gain insight into yourself and motives for change.
