Personal Experience & Biography

I help people who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward by combining practical, evidence-based techniques with compassionate, real-world guidance. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, (including PTSD) substance use and recovery, relationship and communication problems, and life transitions (job changes, grief, parenting stress). My approach is strengths-based and goal-oriented: we’ll map your priorities together, build skills you can use every day, and keep progress measurable so you know therapy is working.

You can expect our time together to be calm, focused, and guided by your needs-whether that’s finding ways to cope with stress, navigate transitions, improve relationships, or just feel more in control of your day-to-day. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make choices that work for you.

I work with you as a partner, not a judge-together we’ll explore what’s going on in your life and figure out what matters most to you. In our sessions, we collaborate to identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic, and we will take small, practical steps toward them at your own pace. My approach is supportive and flexible: there’s no pressure, no overwhelming homework, just a safe space to talk, reflect, and try strategies that make life feel a little easier.
