Personal Experience & Biography

I provide counseling services to individuals ages 13 and up, offering a supportive and compassionate space for clients to navigate life’s challenges. For nearly five years in private practice, I’ve worked closely with clients to address their needs while utilizing my specialties to guide meaningful progress.

My background includes experience in crisis intervention and management, as well as supporting diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community and couples. With training in Gottman Couples Therapy, I help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen their connection.

I also have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, helping clients develop effective coping strategies, build resilience, and work toward healing. Overall, I aim to meet clients where they are, honor their unique experiences, and empower them to move toward growth and well-being.

In a session with me, you can expect a relaxed, comfortable vibe. I’m easygoing, patient, and down-to- earth, and I want you to feel like you can show up exactly as you are. I listen closely, try to really understand what you’re going through, and I’m never in a rush to push you somewhere you’re not ready to go.

I’m supportive and encouraging, but I’ll also gently challenge you when it feels helpful. My style is conversational, honest, and real — no judgment, no pressure. Clients often tell me I’m approachable and easy to talk to, and my goal is for our sessions to feel safe, grounding, and genuinely helpful.

Reaching out for support takes courage, and I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

What keeps clients coming back and my goal as a therapist is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and respected — a place where you can explore what’s weighing on you without judgment or pressure. I believe that healing and growth begin when we feel safe enough to be ourselves and giving you the space to feel listened to. I’ll meet you where you are, helping you untangle what feels confusing, identify what’s within your control, and find clarity and strength in the process. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy. You just have to take the first step, and I’ll walk alongside you from there.
