My experience in providing individual therapy in a private practice setting, my background in hospice and home health social work, has afforded me the opportunity to provide support for those in end-of- life care and in need of bereavement counseling, helping individuals and families navigate loss, anticipatory grief, and major life transitions with dignity and compassion. I also have experience providing substance use counseling, supporting clients in exploring change, strengthening motivation, and developing practical coping strategies. As a Targeted Case Manager, I have assisted clients in locating and accessing resources.
I utilize evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I am committed to walking alongside clients as they build resilience, gain insight, and work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist with experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depressive symptoms, grief, chronic illness, and substance use concerns. My approach emphasizes building strong therapeutic rapport and creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
