Personal Experience & Biography

I am deeply passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families create healthier, more fulfilling lives and relationships. At the heart of my work is the belief that people already have strengths within them — sometimes they just need the right support, insight, and space to access those strengths.

I specialize in working with couples and sex therapy, which is an area of practice I genuinely love. Relationships are complex, intimate, and deeply personal, and I find it incredibly meaningful to help couples navigate communication challenges, rebuild trust, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, and rediscover connection. Whether couples are facing conflict, disconnection, infidelity, mismatched desire, or sexual concerns, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where both partners feel heard and respected.

In sex therapy, I work with individuals and couples to address concerns around desire, arousal, intimacy, shame, sexual confidence, and communication. I approach sex therapy with warmth, curiosity, and sensitivity, recognizing how vulnerable these topics can be. My goal is to help clients feel more empowered, informed, and comfortable in their bodies and relationships.

Beyond couples work, I also support individuals and families who are seeking personal growth, healing, or clarity. Whether clients are navigating life transitions, stress, identity exploration, family dynamics, or simply wanting to better understand themselves, I tailor my approach to meet their unique needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model of therapy — every client’s story is different, and our work together reflects that.

Clients often describe sessions with me as warm, comfortable, and grounding. I bring a calm, accepting presence into the room and strive to create an environment where clients can be fully themselves — without fear of judgment, pressure, or shame.

My personality as a therapist is genuine, compassionate, and engaged. I balance empathy with thoughtful guidance, offering reflections, questions, and tools that help clients gain insight while also feeling emotionally supported. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, not clinical or rigid. We work together as a team, moving at a pace that feels right for you.

I am attentive and intuitive in sessions, often picking up on patterns, emotional undercurrents, and unspoken dynamics. I adapt my style depending on what you need — sometimes that means deep emotional processing, sometimes practical strategies, and sometimes space to simply slow down and reflect. I value honesty, humor when appropriate, and meaningful conversations that lead to real change.

Most importantly, I want clients to leave sessions feeling seen, understood, and hopeful, even when working through difficult topics.

Clients continue to come back to therapy with me because they feel genuinely cared for and understood. I take the time to truly know my clients — not just their challenges, but their values, goals, and strengths. Therapy with me is not rushed or generic; it is intentional and tailored.

Many clients appreciate that I am warm, accepting, and flexible in my approach. They feel safe bringing their full selves into the room, including parts of themselves they may have never shared before. Especially in couples and sex therapy, clients often share that they feel relieved to talk openly about sensitive topics without fear of judgment or discomfort.

Clients also return because they see progress. They gain insight, improve communication, feel more connected in their relationships, and develop tools they can actually use outside of sessions. I check in regularly about what is working and what isn’t, adjusting our work as clients grow and their needs evolve.

Ultimately, clients come back because they feel supported, respected, and empowered — not just during sessions, but in their everyday lives.
