I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with teenagers and adults, offering a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for healing, reflection, and growth. My therapeutic approach is gentle and holistic, grounded in the belief that emotional well-being is deeply connected to the mind, body, relationships, and lived experiences.
In our work together, I focus on understanding the whole person rather than just the presenting concern. I support clients in increasing self-awareness, exploring patterns, and developing coping tools that feel aligned with their values and daily lives. While my style is compassionate and collaborative, I am also direct when honesty and clarity will best support a client’s growth.
I have experience working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I often incorporate mindfulness, grounding techniques, and strengths-based practices to help clients feel more connected, regulated, and empowered.
As a LCSW, I am committed to ethical practice, ongoing learning, and providing care that honors each client’s individuality and resilience. Whether you are seeking balance, clarity, or deeper self-understanding, I aim to walk alongside you with empathy, intention, and respect on your healing journey.
During my sessions, we’re going to have fun — and yes, we’re going to laugh. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or heavy all the time. A former client once described her time with me as “like a hug I never got and laughs I didn’t think were possible anymore,” and that truly captures what I hope each session feels like.
I am funny and witty to my core, while also being comforting, inviting, and a safe place to land. I strive to create an environment where you feel at ease, understood, and supported — where you can show up exactly as you are.
My goal every day is to leave people better than I found them, whether that’s a client I’m working with, my son, or even a stranger at the grocery store. That intention carries into every session.
You may also notice my dog, Nash, in my profile. He may occasionally make an appearance during sessions (with your comfort and consent, of course). I love animals and always look forward to meeting yours.
Clients often share that they return to sessions because of how they feel in the space we create together. My personality and the experience I offer in sessions help clients feel comfortable, valued, and genuinely heard.
Clients frequently comment on my memory and the details I remember about their lives, which helps them feel seen and important. I tend to write things down during sessions, which may feel a bit old-school, but it allows me to truly stay present and remember what matters to each client.
While clients appreciate my knowledge and experience working with a variety of mental health diagnoses, what often matters most is that I show up as human. I don’t pretend to know everything — and if something comes up that I’m unsure about, I take the time to research it and return to the conversation in our next session. This creates a relationship built on honesty, curiosity, and trust.
