Personal Experience & Biography

When you work with me, my focus is on creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, deeply understood, and never judged. I specialize in helping clients who struggle with anxiety and low self- esteem, and my approach is both practical and compassionate.

Anxiety can take so many forms—constant worry, physical tension, racing thoughts, fear that something bad is about to happen, or simply feeling overwhelmed by everyday life. I help you learn to slow the noise, understand where your anxiety comes from, and gain tools that actually work for your real, daily situations. Together, we’ll explore the patterns—both emotional and physical—that keep anxiety in control. Then we’ll shift those patterns so you can be back in the driver’s seat.

Self-esteem is more than “feeling confident.” It’s about how you see yourself, how you talk to yourself, and how you respond when life gets hard. Many people don’t realize that anxiety and self-worth are deeply connected.

My work helps you:
Identify limiting beliefs that have been running your life
Rewrite the internal narrative that keeps you feeling “not enough”
Build emotional resilience and inner confidence
Set healthy boundaries without guilt
Learn to trust your own voice again

My style is warm, straightforward, and practical. I use a blend of evidence-based methods like CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, nervous-system regulation, attachment-based work, and strengths-focused interventions. I’m also deeply committed to helping you integrate new habits and perspectives into your everyday life — not just in the session.

My goal is simple: to help you breathe easier, think clearer, and rebuild the way you see yourself from the inside out.

You don’t have to stay stuck. We do this work together, and I walk with you every step of the way.

When you have a session with me, my goal is for you to feel safe, understood, and completely human — not judged, rushed, or talked over. I create a space where you can breathe, slow down, and finally say the things you’ve been carrying for a long time.

I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist with a calm presence. My clients often tell me they feel comfortable with me quickly, because I show up as a real person — compassionate, steady, and genuinely interested in who you are. I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods silently. I’m engaged. I ask thoughtful questions. I help you make connections. And I will gently challenge you when it helps you grow.

In our sessions, I balance empathy and structure. I want you to feel supported, but I also want you to walk away with tools you can actually use. Because of that, I integrate both CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) into my work. This means we’ll explore the patterns that keep showing up in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors — and we’ll practice real skills that help you gain control over your mind instead of feeling controlled by anxiety or self-doubt.

You’ll notice that I’m very collaborative. I don’t talk at you; we work together. I check in often, I pace things with you, and I tailor the session to what you need in that moment — whether that’s emotional support, grounding, learning a new skill, problem-solving, or simply having someone sit with you in the hard things.

Above all, I want you to feel that therapy is a place where you can be fully yourself. You’re allowed to laugh, cry, question, be frustrated, be quiet, be messy, or be unsure. I will meet you where you are, every time.

My clients often leave sessions feeling lighter, clearer, and more capable — not because life magically changed, but because they finally feel supported, understood, and equipped with practical steps forward.

Clients often tell me that what brings them back to our sessions is the combination of safety, honesty, and real progress they experience in our work together. I’m not just someone who listens — I’m someone who listens deeply, responds thoughtfully, and helps them navigate change at a pace that feels right for them.

They know that when they come into a session with me, they’re stepping into a space where they won’t be judged, rushed, or dismissed. I’m consistent, steady, and fully present with them. Whether they’re having a hard week or celebrating a victory, they know I’m right there, walking with them through every step of their journey.

My clients appreciate that I bring both compassion and direction. I’m warm and supportive, but I also offer structure and tools that help them make real changes in their daily lives. I use CBT and DBT not just as techniques, but as practical, everyday skills that empower them to understand themselves better, regulate their emotions, and break old patterns.

Many clients come back because they feel genuinely understood — often for the first time in a long time. They know they don’t have to pretend, mask their feelings, or carry everything alone. They feel heard, valued, and respected in a way that builds trust over time.

What keeps people returning is simple:
They feel better when they come.
They grow here.
They feel hopeful here.

And they can see the difference therapy is making in their relationships, their confidence, and their overall well-being.

My goal is always to create a place where people feel safe enough to open up, supported enough to grow, and empowered enough to take what we do in session into the rest of their life. That’s what keeps them coming back — and what makes the work so meaningful to me.
