Personal Experience & Biography

I provide both in-person and telehealth sessions. I specialize in working with youth, adolescents, and young adults in areas of anxiety, depression, school issues, trauma, conflict/decision making, and life transitions. I have extensive experience with at-risk youth and families across multiple topics, including mental health, relationship issues, substance use, LGBTQ needs, stress and burnout, trauma, and others.

I specialize in solution-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy, in which we will set goals together to address your needs. I also offer DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and ACT so that I can tailor services to meet your needs.

My sessions are informal, warm, and often involve goal-oriented topics. During the first few sessions, we will get to know each other and discover what works best for you. We will typically start with a check-in to focus on what may be pressing right now and connect it to deeper patterns. You can expect practical tools you can use in your daily life, plenty of validation, and a non-judgmental space where you can be your authentic, honest self.

Clients choose to continue their therapeutic sessions with me because I strive to establish a safe and trusting connection during our first session. We celebrate all signs of progress during each follow-up session, and I recognize that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I ensure that each treatment plan is tailored to each client’s individual needs and work to ensure that we are proactively setting a strong foundation for the future.
