In my practice, I am dedicated to providing supportive, person-centered care to each individual. I enjoy helping others understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in order to reach their goals. My clients would describe me as kind, understanding, and open minded.
I utilize components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help my clients recognize problematic thinking and behaviors, and develop appropriate skills to address these negative patterns. I enjoy helping my clients develop problem solving skills, improve interpersonal communication and relationships, and work toward optimal emotional regulation. I also help connect clients with community resources as necessary.
Clients return to me for follow-up sessions because I strive to have open, non-judgmental communication. I encourage my clients to let me know if there is anything they would like to change about our sessions, as I know that each person is different and has varying expectations for our sessions together.
