Personal Experience & Biography

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating challenges related to eating disorders, substance use, depression, anxiety, stress and trauma. My approach is rooted in empathy, clinical expertise, and a commitment to helping each person feel safe, understood, and empowered.

In a session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can truly be yourself. I’m calm, grounded, and genuinely curious about your story—never rushed or overly clinical. I bring a mix of compassion, honesty, and a sense of humor when it’s needed most. I take the time to listen deeply and make sure you feel heard, not just assessed. My clients often tell me they feel more relaxed after we talk, even when discussing tough topics. I’m collaborative in my approach—we’ll talk through your goals and concerns together, and I’ll offer professional guidance without ever making you feel pressured. Whether it’s your first time seeking mental health support or you’ve been in care before, I want you to feel respected, understood, and empowered from our very first conversation.

What keeps my clients coming back is the trusting, consistent relationship we build together. I show up as my full self in every session—present, attentive, and fully engaged in your care. Clients often tell me they feel seen, not just as a diagnosis or a list of symptoms, but as a whole person. I take the time to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface, and I adjust treatment plans as your needs evolve. I’m dependable, responsive, and I follow through—whether it’s checking in on a new medication, coordinating with a therapist, or simply remembering something important you shared weeks ago. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care. My clients come back because they know I’ll meet them where they are each time, and they can count on me to be thoughtful, honest, and invested in their progress—no matter how fast or slow the journey feels.
