I have worked with a variety of mental health issues in the past ten years. I have primarily worked in the substance abuse population, which also includes other issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues and post traumatic stress disorder.
In our first session you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, exploring what brings you to therapy, and identifying your goals. I’ll guide you through an initial assessment to help us shape a plan that fits your needs and pace. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with, as my goal is for you to feel safe, supported, and understood from the start.
I bring empathy, patience, and deep listening to every session. Clients often share that they feel genuinely heard and accepted when working with me. My grounded, practical approach helps you stay focused on the present while building the skills and insight needed for lasting change. I believe in walking beside my clients, not leading them, so that healing feels collaborative and empowering.
