I think I can help clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, and trauma work. I am growing and learning just like those who are working with me. I typically use CBT, DBT, and ART as my theories for counseling.
I am very bubbly, creative, and challenging when needed. I am not an expert because you are the expert in your life. I am walking with you on your path of growth, right beside you.
This is your session. You provide a goal, and we will collaborate on what your barriers, stressors, and other factors are that keep you from that goal. The goal every time we meet is What do you want to get out of the session today. I will make sure that you leave with a coping skill, too. I love assigning “therapy work” as well. The work happens more outside of the session.
