Personal Experience & Biography

I enjoy working with women, mothers, and young adults who are feeling stressed, anxious, burnout, or struggle with low self-esteem. I help women identify their anxiety triggers, learn coping skills, improve their communication, and build up their self-esteem so that they can fully enjoy their lives and follow their passions and goals. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques with clients such as cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, mindfulness, stress management, assertiveness training, relaxation skills, and finding work/life balance.

My counseling approach is open and non-judgmental, steering clear of the stereotypical stiff and clinical approach that counselors sometimes have. I love using humor in my sessions and really connecting with my clients so that they feel comfortable. I value a collaborative, person-centered approach in my sessions. Together we will explore how anxiety and stress are stored in your body and how they can often manifest in symptoms like fatigue, pain, or digestive issues. We will practice grounding and relaxation techniques to regulate your nervous system and release anxiety. We will work together to overcome your anxiety and reach your treatment goals.

My clients describe me as laid-back, gentle, open minded, compassionate, and candid. I know that clients value not just being heard but being understood, so I strive to create a calm, safe environment where they can feel vulnerable and let their walls down in sessions. I enjoy seeing my clients overcome challenges and come out the other side even stronger. I admire my client’s resilience and I love cheering them on during their counseling journey.
